Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
1. What Recrec is
Recrec is a browser-based voice recorder. You record audio in your browser, we transcode it to MP3, and you get a link you can share. Recordings made without an account are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Recordings made while signed in are kept until you delete them.
2. Your account
Accounts are free. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address you sign up with. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard; this permanently deletes your account and all your recordings, and every shared link stops working immediately.
3. Acceptable use
By using Recrec you agree not to use it to upload or share content that is unlawful, or that:
- infringes copyright or other rights you don't own or have permission to use;
- harasses, threatens, defames, or doxxes any person;
- contains sexual content involving minors, or is otherwise illegal;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation;
- attempts to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the service's limits or security.
We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate these terms, and will cooperate with law-enforcement requests where legally required.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to audio you record. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, transcode, and serve it — nothing broader. We don't claim ownership, sell your audio, or use it to train models. If you delete a recording (or it expires as a guest clip), the audio and its link are removed from our systems.
5. Links are unlisted, not secret
A shared recording link can be played by anyone who has it. Treat links like an "anyone with the link" document: anyone you forward it to can listen and re-share it. If you need a recording to stay private, delete it once you're done, or mark it private from your dashboard.
6. Copyright and takedown (DMCA)
Copyright owners may send takedown notices to abuse@recrec.microworker.my.id. Include the recording link, identification of the copyrighted work, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove reported material promptly. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
7. Service availability
Recrec is provided "as is". We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. Recordings are your responsibility — download anything you can't afford to lose. Free accounts are limited to 1 GB of storage and clips up to 25 MB.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recrec and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or recordings, arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
