Privacy Policy

The short version: we store your email (if you sign up), your audio, and the metadata needed to run the service. We don't run ads, sell data, or use your audio for AI training. Guests get auto-deleted after 30 days; you can delete everything else yourself at any time.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, only if you create an account. No passwords are stored (login uses one-time email codes).
- Audio recordings — the file you record, stored once as the original upload and once as a transcoded MP3.
- Recording metadata — title, duration, size, timestamps, and (for guests) a random browser-generated token used to show you your own clips.
- Operational logs — standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
What we don't do
- No advertising or tracking pixels.
- No selling or sharing your data with third parties for marketing.
- No use of your audio to train machine-learning models.
Processors we rely on
- Resend — sends login-code emails on our behalf.
- Our hosting provider — stores the service and your files.
Retention
- Guest recordings — automatically deleted 30 days after recording.
- Signed-in recordings — kept until you delete them, or until you delete your account (which removes them all immediately).
- Logs — kept for a limited operational window.
Your rights (GDPR and similar)
Where you're protected by GDPR or similar law, you have rights to access, correct, export, and erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing:
- Access / export — download your MP3s from your dashboard at any time; for a full copy of your account data, email us below.
- Erasure — delete individual recordings yourself, or delete your account from the dashboard to erase everything tied to it immediately.
- Guests — deleting a recording from this browser removes it; otherwise it self-erases after 30 days.
- Complaints — you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any right, contact support@recrec.microworker.my.id. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Uploads are rate-limited and size-capped; recordings are not publicly indexable (links are unlisted — see the Terms). No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users if a breach occurs.
Report abuse
If a Recrec link contains content that is illegal or violates our terms, report it to abuse@recrec.microworker.my.id with the link. We act on valid reports promptly.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the current version.
