- Do I need an account to record?
- No. Press record and go — guests get a shareable MP3 link instantly. An account only adds permanent storage and a dashboard to manage your recordings.
- How long are recordings kept?
- Guest recordings are kept for 30 days. Sign in and they are kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete any recording at any time and the link stops working immediately.
- Does it work on iPhone?
- Yes. Every recording is transcoded to MP3, so links play in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and on iPhone and Android without codec issues or downloads.
- Is my audio private?
- Audio is captured in your browser and uploaded once for MP3 transcoding. A shareable link is public by default — anyone with the URL can play it, much like an anyone-with-the-link document. Keep the link private, or delete the recording to revoke it.
